Music Icon, Bankole Wellington ‘Banky W’ and wife, Adesua went throughout hell before having children.
According to him, lots of people were mocking him and call Adesua barren .
Read what he said : “My wife, Adesua and I struggled to have kids for 4-years after our marriage to no avail. Everyone laughed at us.”
“After my wedding, my wife, Adesua and I got to the point where the desire for a child became an idol. Every month if her period would come, she’d be crying, she’d be depressed, she’d be upset and all that. We did IVF(Invertual Fertilization) 3-times and it didn’t work. We spent money on this struggle to have a child but it didn’t work. I and my wife became a laughing stalk in the society. My family members laughed at me, my friends, and almost everyone I knew laughed at me behind my back. Some called my wife A Barrēn woman, and I was sad because she let the mockery get to her.
“ So one day, I called Adesua and said, ‘I don’t care if this child we’re looking for comes today, tomorrow, next month, next year, in the next 10-years, or never. It’s okay, let’s love ourselves and trust God. Then we stopped worrying and a couple of months later, we got pregnant just like that. Whatever you’re seeking, seek God first and the thing will come.” Banky W narrated .
It would be recalled that Afrobeats legend, Banky W now has kid.
