The Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. (Barr.) Oluyemisi Adenike Rosiji, has extended goodwill and prayers to residents as the community ushers in the month of September.
In her message to mark the beginning of the new month, Hon. Rosiji described September as a season of fruitfulness and new beginnings, urging residents to embrace it with optimism and renewed faith.
Reflecting on the year’s journey so far, she commended the resilience and unity of the Ojokoro people despite challenges, noting that the ninth month symbolizes maturity, fulfilment, and the blossoming of long-awaited aspirations.
“I pray that this month brings peace, joy, sound health, and steady progress into every home in Ojokoro,” she said, while extending special blessings to different groups within the community.
She prayed for young people to find fresh inspiration and courage, for elders to enjoy wisdom and wellness, and for artisans, traders, teachers, workers, and parents to reap the rewards of their hard work.
Reassuring residents of her commitment to inclusive governance, Hon. Rosiji pledged to continue leading with fairness and compassion, while building a community where “every voice matters and every life counts.”
She described September as “a divine call to rise higher” and encouraged residents to approach the month with faith, purpose, and confidence in better days.
“Better days are not ahead—they have already begun,” she concluded, wishing the people of Ojokoro a September filled with hope, growth, and transformation.
