As a result of the recent police officers redeployment exercise which took place recently, Owutu, agric, Ikorodu area now has a new DPO, SP CYRIL NWOBU.
The new DPO takes over the reins of affairs from the incumbent DPO, CSP MARGARETH OKONKWO, who now heads Shogunle Police Station.
While on a courtesy call to his office today, the amiable DPO promised to give his best to ensuring that the peace and security which is recently being enjoyed in the area is not undermined by criminal elements.
Speaking further, he deasserted the police’s determination in curbing crime and ensuring that the lives and property of the citizens living within his official territory are secure.
Also present during the visit were officers attached to the station viz the DTO, DSP Kingsley Akaribe, Officer Adekunle Sabbauna, and others.Recall that Owutu Police Station is one of the few stations whose activities were not violently disrupted by the ENDSARS Protests as a result of a strong Police-Community relationship.
