Lithuanian champions FK Zalgris Vilnius have announced the signing of Nigeria midfielder Ogenyi Onazi, we can report.
The former Lazio, Trabzonspor and Denizlispor midfielder left Danish club SönderjyskE in January.
”Ogenyi Eddy Onazi, a long-time midfielder of the Nigerian national team, has joined the ranks of the Lithuanian champions,”reads a statement on the club official website.
“Onazi, 28, is best known in the world of football for representing one of the strongest Italian clubs in Rome, Lazio. In it, the Nigerian began his career in Europe, playing 110 matches in all tournaments in five seasons, scoring 7 goals.
Zalgris will feature in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League next season.
