Another wrong footing….

Indigenous cultural and heritage practitioners such as Idris Iwalewa Coker that promotes culture in Lagos island should be included in the committee.

Governor Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has appointed Richar Id-Mofe-Damijo( RMD) as chairman of film production and empowerment committee . Other practitioners in the committee are :
Tunde Kelani
Kunle Afolayan
MO Abudu
Peace Anyim Osigwe.

This is an industry that have indigenous Lagosians like Funke Akindele and Jide Kosoko ,doing excellently well but the governor see it as a taboo to have them in such committee in their own state

It is not about sentiment or emotion , the governor of Lagos and indeed governors of various states are first representing the interest of Indigenous people of their states ,on that note, every step you take as governor , your first consideration are the natives of your state , then other things and considerations come secondarily

Something similar was done in Delta in 2019 by the governor and they made it strictly a Delta-Igbo affair . Not even Tunde Kilani who is a doyen in the industry was considered ,simply because he is not from there .

You cannot continue to relegate Indigenous people of Lagos and you think we will be happy with you . Anyway, it’s a function of time .
