It has been revealed by a close associate to the former Governor of Zamfara State who pleaded anonymity , hinted that Senator Kabiru Marafa did not follow the due process in the distribution of Ramadan palliative sent by Ex-governor Abdul Aziz Abubakar Yari.
We gathered that the Ramadan palliative which Marafa championed as the distribution chairman, was said to have fallen below expectation and standard as it was alleged that the Senator did not allow the distribution committees to fully participate in the distribution process.
Confirm News source added, “we decided to remain mute on the whole exercise considering who Senator Kabiru Marafa is. Absolutely Marafa has this attitudes of always trying to position himself whenever stuffs like this comes up so as to be seen as a resourceful politician but, most of those activities always end up like this Ramadan palliative scandal.”The source confirmed.
Recall that about two weeks ago, Information revealed that Ex- governor Abdul Aziz Abubakar Yari assigned Senator Kabiru Marafa to steer the distribution of the yearly Ramadan palliatives to all members of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Zamfara State, the exercise which resulted into another fracas among the party members because of the unwholesome manner at which the exercise was carried out.
