The 2021 edition of the Excellence Recognition Awards organized by Global Excellence Communications (publishers of Global Excellence weekly magazine and www.globalexcellenceonline.com) will be held on Sunday 26th of September in Lagos.
Billed to hold at the Balmoral Events Centre on 98, Kudirat Abiola Way, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos State, the event would be the last word in appreciating Excellence.
It’s the 17th edition of the awards, with its style of honouring personalities for their feats in various fields of endeavour.
The night of fun, laughs and sumptuous eating and drinking will be spiced with performances by star Nigerian music artistes. The anchor is star comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka De 1st, to be supported by A-rated musicians 9ice , multiple-awards winner.
Ruggedman, Bigiano , Muraino, Jay Sax, Lanre Teriba , Neo Phlame, Sammy Oma will be dazzling on the stage.
Other star artistes are H Y 2, Ogidan Omo Ibile, Ice K (Artquake) , Neo Phlames, MC Ajele, Koffi, Pencil Gee, MC Pato and Bash.
D J Mystic and Virgin will be on the wheel of steel respectively.
Expected to be honoured at the grand night are top names in politics and business. Topping the list is the executive governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu; the state’s assembly speaker, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa; immediate past chief of army staff, Lt. Gen Tukur Yusuf Buratai (rtd.) now the Ambassador to Benin Republic; Rainoil boss, Dr. Gabriel Ogbechie; Princess R.U. Osula of Rosula Foundation; Hon. Segun Olulade; Sifax boss, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi; Otunba (Mrs.) Folashade Adeshoye of Jewelry Affair; and many more.
