It has been confirmed that the remains of a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a former member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Risikat Adegeye were on laid to rest on Wednesday at Ebony Vaults, Ikoyi, Lagos.
The funeral program started on Tuesday September 28 with a service of songs at the Luxury Apartments Party Event Center, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos.
The remains were finally committed to mother earth at Ebony Vaults, Ikoyi, Lagos in the presence of her husband, King Sunny Ade and son, Adefolarin George.
Late Hon. Adegeye died on September 21, 2021 after a brief illness, and she was aged 64.

Hon Risikat Adegeye was a member of the 6th Lagos House of Assembly from Amuwo Odofin
Constituency 1.
She contested for chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government council in the local government election of 2017. When that one failed, she again showed interest in the House of Representatives seat for Amuwo Odofin Federal constituency in the 2019 election.
Hon. Adegeye contributed to the growth of Amuwo-Odofin/Oriade and Lagos.
Until her death, she was a very nice mother and survived by children, grandchildren, and many adopted children.
