Though it was cleared that Senator Fatai Buhari defeated House of Representatives member, Shina Peller to the senatorial ticket for Oyo North. But Honourable Shina Peller has revealed that he is not worried about this. What he worried about is the future of this country.
“Old men don’t want the youth to take over Nigeria politics. Either they like it or not , we are coming with full force. We cannot continue to be compromised . Oyo State is still far to progressive development. Look at Lagos State, they are very objective people . That is why the state is moving and progressing everyday and night. Youth will re-enforce. We are coming to sweep the delegates”, Pellers’ group stressed.
It was reported that Buhari scored 570 votes against Mr Peller’s 5 votes in the just concluded APC Oyo North Senatorial primary elections, after it was earlier postponed on Saturday.
Senator Fatai Buhari will be looking to retunt to the Red Chamber for the third time, if he wins at the general election in 2023.
