It has been reported that protesting Nigerians have again blocked the Benin-Ore-Lagos highway in Odigbo local government area over the scarcity of new naira notes.

Travellers plying the route lamented that they have been stranded for several hours and the end of the road block is not in sight.

The protesters placed a road block to prevent vehicular movement. They also set up bonfires on the highway.

This comes 10 days after the same area was blocked by youths protesting naira scarcity.
