The Morden Automotive Spare Parts and Accessories Traders Association has elected Chinwike Ikenna Collins as the new President of the association.
The election which took place at Clegg , Ojuelegba, Surulere , Lagos on Thursday 27th July 2023 saw lots of members coming out massively to vote .
Confirm News findings revealed that that since the establishment of the association , this is the best election so far.
The Peaceful election had C E O, Mulifelong Motors, Mrs Mulikat Sanni Fehintola as matron and external observer with police men along side journalists who came to cover the event also akcnoledged that the election was well conducted and transparent.
While addressing the audience after election,
the new President Chinwike Ikenna Collins revealed that this is beginning of a new era.
” The is the beginning of a new era. I thank God Almighty that made this election possible. I appreciate my members who came out to vote for me. I promise that i will not let them down”, Collins said.
He later urge the members to always pray for him and the EXCOS in order for the association to progress successfully .
He added that they are ready to support Lagos State Government led by His Excellency, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
“ My tenure will support Governor of Lagos State and Lagos State Government respectively. Lagos State is where we are making our money. It is our priority to support the government “, Collins concluded.
However, C E O Mulifelong Motors, Mrs Mulikat Sanni advised the new president that he should always carry EXCOS and members along in all the activities to be carried out.
” Without followers there is no leader. Life is vice versa. Everybody is very important in an association. The president and EXCOS must seek advice from elders and former president of the association. That is parts of the codes to achieve alot as the new president”, Mulifelong Boss said.
