… new ruling date set for July 18th

It has been revealed that Kano State High Court has issued an order preventing Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero from continuing to present himself as the Emir of Kano.

The ruling, delivered by Justice Amina Aliyu on Monday, July 15. also bars four other deposed emirs from parading as the Emirs of Bichi, Rano, Karaye, and Gaya.

The court further mandated that the five deposed emirs must return all movable and immovable properties belonging to the Kano state government.

Justice Aliyu had previously adjourned the matter on July 4 to rule on several applications, including an extension of time, a notice of preliminary objection, a joinder application, and an application for the judge to recuse herself. The new ruling date is set for July 18.
