The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) has taken decisive action against Donald’s Fast Food, a popular restaurant owned by socialite Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, famously known as Cubana Chiefpriest. The fast food outlet, located on Adebayo Doherty Street in Lekki Phase 1, was sealed off for persistent noise pollution and multiple environmental infractions.

Despite several warnings and official abatement notices issued by LASEPA, the restaurant continued to flout environmental regulations, leading to its eventual closure.

Tokunbo Wahab, the Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, confirmed the action on Sunday through his social media, stating: “After several warnings and abatement notices, LASEPA sealed Donald’s Fast Food on Adebayo Doherty Street, Lekki 1, over noise pollution and other environmental infractions.”

This enforcement marks a significant stand by the state against businesses that disregard environmental laws, as Lagos continues its efforts to curb pollution and ensure public safety.
