Trending goalkeeper in Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Kayode Bankole who plights his trade with Remo Stars will battle Stanley Nwabali a run for his money during the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying games against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
Kayode Bankole who was born in Alimosho local government, Lagos has been the cynosure of all eyes since the beginning of (NPFL) this season.
More so, Remo Stars have extended their congratulatory message to goalkeeper Kayode Bankole on his maiden invitation to the Super Eagles for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying games against Rwanda and Zimbabwe respectively.
Bankole was named in Eric Chelle’s 38-man list for the World Cup qualifiers with Stanley Nwabali topping the list. .
Recall that Bankole’s impressive goalkeeping in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) has seen Remo Stars sit at the top of the league table.
