It has become real drama between Kogi lawmaker, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan and President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio on the move to stop alleged sexual harassment in the house.

It is no longer news that Natasha had accused President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio that he had been harassing her since 2023.

This led to a serious campaign in the house hours ago that Godswill Akpabio must resign his position as the Senate President.

More so, the Kogi lawmaker, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan had filed petition against the leader of the senate.

Confirm News gathered that the Senate on Wednesday rejected the sexual harassment petition filed by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, against the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio.

The red chamber described her action as a violation of the Senate Standing Rules.

This is as Akpoti-Uduaghan shunned the Committee on Ethics, Privileges, and Public Petitions which was conducting a review of her face-off with Akpabio over sitting arrangements in the senate.

It was reported that the kogi senator had an interview on Arise Television alleged that Akpabio made sexual advances towards her during a visit to his residence in his home state of Akwa Ibom on December 8, 2023.

The matter is still very hot in the senate house as President of the senate has the support of the majority in the house.
