Son of Afrobeat late legend, Seun Kuti has divulged real reason he parted ways with reigning Afrobeats singer, Davido Adeleke – Davido.
Seun stressed that before Davido’s wedding with Chioma, both were very cordial. But he was amazed that inspite of their friendship, Davido didn’t invite him for his wedding. This action made him to distance himself from Davido.
“That Davido, He comes to the shrine everytime—he’ll drink and not pay, smoke igbo up and down the place. He’ll bring like 100 people inside the shrine and they’ll not pay gate fee. It was time for his wedding and he didn’t send me IV(invitation)—I was pained i didnt sleep for one week”, Seun Kuti said .
