The agent of Rangers of Scotland forward Cyriel Dessers is urging for his client to be given another chance to prove himself in the Super Eagles shirt during the upcoming Unity Cup in England.

He added that if the frustration is much, he might dump the Green and White country .

Confirm News findings revealed that at 30 years old, Dessers has emerged as one of the leading Nigerian forward in Europe this season, boasting 28 goals from 54 games across all competitions.

Despite this impressive form, he has yet to receive a senior call-up.

Dessers has only featured in friendly games for Nigeria, earning six caps and scoring two goals, with his last appearance being the 0-2 loss to Mali in March of the previous year.

As the Super Eagles prepare for the Unity Cup, where they will be without several key players, his agent believes this is the opportune moment for Dessers to stake his claim in the tournament, which will see them compete against Ghana and the winner of the match between Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago.

The agent emphasized, “You have to make good use of every opportunity and this should be his time because he is coming into the end of the season with a run of goals that hasn’t happened before now.

We wait and see how it all goes with the new coach”.
