Convincted Star Actor, Baba Ijesha, Olanrewaju ‘ s supporters have attacked Princess and Iyabo Ojo in their roles on how the male actor was convicted since 2021.
Hours ago, Baba Ijesha was announced freed from prison . His fans home and abroad were celebrating. While some cursed and attacked his female colleagues, Princess and Iyabo Ojo who played major role on the rape scandal that led the male actor to prison.
News flittered on Friday 14th November 2025 evening that Olanrewaju ‘Baba Ijesha’ Omiyinka has been released .
He has spent over three years in custody over alleged sexual assault.
Announcing Baba Ijesha’s release, actor Yomi Fabiyi, in a post shared on his Instagram page on Friday evening, stated that he was freed after being cleared by the Appeal Court.
Fabiyi wrote: “You are now officially FREE AND OUT. Baba Ijesha is not just back but BETTER.
“I am also happy you were cleared by the APPEAL COURT of ever having sex/defile any child/minor. The 7-year-old story is a charade. We live in a terrible world, where sentiments and wickedness rise above the rule of law and truth.”
Before now , Baba Ijesha was sentenced to 16 years’ imprisonment on July 14, 2022, by the Lagos State High Court for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl.
However, Princess said that 𝐀𝐝𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐚 𝐈𝐣𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐱 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐋𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐬Ian’s.
Comedienne and actress Damilola Adekoya, popularly known as Princess, has reacted to the release of actor Olanrewaju Omiyinka, aka Baba Ijesha, urging the Lagos State government and the Department of Justice to include his name on the sex offender register.
