Reports have it that the Ogun State Police Command has released Abigeal Nsikak, popularly known as Mirabel on TikTok, to the Ogun State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development as investigations into her rape allegation continue.In a press statement issued on Tuesday, the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, said the Command was providing an update on the matter following public interest in the case.According to the statement, Mirabel visited the police station after making the rape allegation online and was subsequently taken to a medical facility for examination.“Upon her visit to the police station, she was received and taken to a medical facility for necessary examination to verify her claims. She has continued to cooperate with investigators as due process progresses,” he said.
