The attention of the Office of the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government Area has been drawn to a circulating social media campaign suggesting that Barr. Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe is contesting for the Kosofe State Constituency 1 seat at the Lagos State House of Assembly in the 2027 general elections. We wish to state unequivocally that this is false.
Whilst we are deeply touched by the confidence our constituents continue to repose in our Executive Chairman – a confidence he has richly earned – Barr. Ogunlewe was re-elected into office less than a year ago and remains firmly focused on completing his mandate with the dedication and empathy that has defined his tenure. His immediate priorities are delivering on his obligations to the people of Kosofe and supporting the re-election of Mr. President, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
We warmly appreciate the love and goodwill but respectfully implore the public to discontinue the circulation of this narrative, as it is misleading and potentially distracting to our teeming supporters.
