Ex Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu has allegedly accused for betraying President Bola Tinubu.
Sources said that his resignation from President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet is against the wishes of the President.
His resignation was back and forth that preceded the resignation but Adelabu insisted on quitting the cabinet to pursue his governorship ambition in Oyo State.
Adelabu announced his resignation on Wednesday in a letter dated April 22, 2026, and addressed to the President through the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
As the situation is like this, the ex Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu might not be guaranteed consensus ticket in Oyo State under All Progressives Congress.
