Agege Youth Voice has received with concern reports of a petition submitted by Mr. Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi regarding the recently concluded APC House of Assembly Primary Election for Agege Constituency 01.
After a careful review of the issues being circulated in the public space, we are compelled to state that the petition is a desperate and meritless attempt to mislead party leaders, distort the facts, and undermine the credibility of a process conducted under the framework and guidelines of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

We therefore urge APC leaders and relevant stakeholders to carefully scrutinize the petition and weigh its claims against the facts and provisions of the partyโs Constitution and Nomination Guidelines. No individual interest should be allowed to supersede the collective interest of the party or the democratic will expressed during the primary election process.
As committed stakeholders in the progress and development of Agege, we call on all party members and supporters to remain calm, law-abiding, and focused on strengthening the APC ahead of future electoral contests. The time has come to move beyond unnecessary distractions and embrace unity, discipline, and respect for due process.
In conclusion, Agege Youth Voice maintains that the petition reportedly submitted by Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi is fundamentally flawed, lacking in merit, and incapable of displacing the facts surrounding the APC House of Assembly Primary Election in Agege Constituency 01. Consequently, it deserves to be dismissed, while all party members continue to uphold the values of fairness, unity, and internal democracy that define our great party.
