The palace of Ooni of Ife. Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi has been thrown into mourning as the revered monarch loses brother, Prince Adetunji Ogunwusi.
The shocking passage of Prince Adetunji Ogunwusi, an astute business and real estate merchant was
announced by the Ooni describing the loss as shocking and deeply painful.
The revered monarch disclosed the development in a heartfelt tribute on Sunday, expressing grief over the passing of his brother, whom he said would be greatly missed by the family.
“Rest in Peace Adetunji Ogunwusi. Prince Adetunji Ogunwusi, my dearest brother, the news of your passing came as a shock to me and I am greatly pained. Tunji, your passing is a great loss and we will tremendously miss you. May your soul rest in peace,” the Ooni said.
He also extended his condolences to the entire Ogunwusi royal family of Ile-Ife, praying for strength and comfort for them during the period of mourning.
