The Rotary Club of Osogbo Sunrise in collaboration with the E-Club of Better Nigeria successfully held its Maternal & Child Health Project on Monday, 24th August 2026 at Atelewo Primary Health Care Centre, Osogbo, Osun State.
The community outreach was aimed at improving maternal and child health outcomes in line with Rotary’s Areas of Focus. Over 50 expectant and nursing mothers benefited from the project.
The project featured:
• Health Talks by medical professionals
• Antenatal Support and Counseling
• Maternal Health Education
• Distribution of Maternal Kits to over 50 beneficiaries
• Community Health Awareness Campaign
Beneficiaries received vital health information and essential maternal kits to promote safe pregnancy and child care.
Speaking at the event, club leaders emphasized Rotary’s commitment to ensuring that mothers and children in our communities have access to quality healthcare and health education. The initiative was well received by community members and health workers at the centre.
The Rotary Club of Osogbo Sunrise and E-Club of Better Nigeria reaffirm their dedication to Service Above Self and to building healthier communities across Nigeria.
