, Actor Desmond Elliot has returned to Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, to profusely apologise for his actions during the last primary election of the All Progressives Congress for the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Findings revealed that Elliot, a member of the State House of Assembly, admitted that he was misled by his thoughts and now regrets every move he made at the period.
He also pleaded for reintegration into the APC family and the Gbajabiamila structure promising that he would increase his loyalty to the party leader in Surulere.
He added that he had now accepted the verdïct of APC members in Surulere who elected Barakat Odunuga-Bakare as their candidate for Surulere Constituency I ahead of the election.
It would be recalled that Elliot had initially rejected the outcome of the primary election insisting that he would challenge the process through the party’s appeal mechanism.
Odunuga-Bakare, believed to enjoy the backing of Gbajabiamila, polled 11,385 votes to emerge the winner of the contest, while Elliot secured 270 votes.
However, Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila has accepted him back, information revealed.
