He sent out a message notifying the general public that some people have used his name to dupe people .

“It has come to my notice that some unscrupulous young men are using my pictures to deceive and defraud unsuspecting young ladies. I got a tip-off today and some of the young men involved have been arrested.
I would like to state categorically that I, Abisoye Fagade, do not belong to any dating site.
Please, disregard any such invitation or solicitation from a dating site. It is not me. And, to any youth using my picture in such dishonourable manner, be rest assured that the long arm of the law will catch up with you”, he wrote .
