The sudden and shocking demise of young Nigerian music sensation, Mohbad, continues to grip the nation, with fans, fellow artists, and the entertainment industry struggling to come to terms with the loss.
Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has recounted how Mohbad’s former boss, Naira Marley rejected one of her adopted sons when she took him to get signed under his label.
The movie star, made this known in an Instagram live session, where she demanded Naira Marley and others be held accountable for their actions against the late singer.
According to her, Naira Marley had rejected signing her adopted son on the basis that he was selective of the songs he does on his label.
Elsewhere in the video, Iyabo called on artists like Burna Boy, Davido, Tiwa S@vage, and more to give Mohbad a befitting burial.
“He is a celebrity no matter how young he was, the whole world owns celebrities. When the police are done with their autopsy, we will now bury him properly. So that when his son grows up, he will be able to go to his father’s grave. We need to give him a proper befitting burial. We need you the family to come on board with this, you the father to agree to this. He is your son, but he is ours too. Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Don Jazzy, Tiwa Sãvage, I need you to come on board that boy must be buried well”.
