Star Actress, Funke Akindele has revealed her experiences during early pregnancy of her twins.

The Jenifa fame Nollywood star divulged that she nearly killed her self battling with miscarriage during the pregnancy .

Read what she said below:

“Not many people know this, but I almost lóst my first pregnancy. I was six and a half months along when I sûffered a late-term miscarriage. The feár, the pâin, the hospital visits… it was one of the hardest moments of my life. I didn’t know if I would ever hold my child, and the emotional toll was heavy.

After that, there were rumors about my fertility and even speculation about surrogacy, but I stayed focused and hopeful. By God’s grace, in December 2018, I gave birth to my twin boys. Holding them for the first time was pure joy—I couldn’t believe I had made it through such a painful journey.

Those experiences shaped me, not just as a mother, but as an actress. When I acted in Jenifa, I realized that what the character went through is what so many women, especially mothers, experience every day.

They fîght for their children, yet often there’s no one to stand for them when their kids are still small. That role became more than acting—it was a reflection of resilîence, strength, and the sîlent báttles of women everywhere.”
