Sanwo-Olu’s media aide, Gboyega Akosile wins Award
Conference 57 CPS has recognized Gboyega Akosile For Excellence In Strategic Communication. The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, was honoured with an Award of Excellence by the Conference 57 Chief Press Secretaries.The award ceremony was held Saturday as part of activities of the Conference 57 CPS annual retreat, holding at Ibeji -Lekki .Presenting the award, the Chairman of Chairmen in Lagos State, Engr. Sesan Olowa, described the honour as a recognition of Akosile’s outstanding contributions to strategic communication, public information management, and his support for information officers across the 57 LGAs and LCDAs in Lagos State.Describing Akosile as a mentor and rallying figure, Olowa said his leadership and accessibility have strengthened synergy between the state government and local council communicators.“Conference 57 recognizes dedication, professionalism, and the commitment to projecting the good works of government. Mr. Akosile has consistently demonstrated these values,” Olowa stated.In his response, Akosile thanked the CPSs and dedicated the award to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the entire Lagos media team. He urged Chief Press Secretaries to remain objective, proactive, and united in telling the Lagos story from the grassroots.Conference 57, the body of information managers from all 57 LGAs and LCDAs in Lagos, said the award is part of its annual recognition of individuals advancing government communication in the state.
