Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli has gifted a brand-new Toyota Camry to Mrs. Rachael Folake Alamu, the principal of Community High School, Esiele, in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.According to the senator, the donation was made in recognition of Mrs. Alamu’s courage and resilience after she was abducted alongside pupils and other teachers during the attack on Community High School, Esiele, and Yawota Baptist Nursery and Primary School in May.During her time in captivity, Mrs. Alamu was reportedly forced by her abductors to appear in several videos released as proof that the victims were alive and to support ransom demands.While presenting the vehicle, Senator Alli, who represents Oyo South Senatorial District, commended the principal for remaining composed throughout the ordeal and for putting the safety and welfare of the pupils first despite the traumatic experience.He described the gift as a token of appreciation for her bravery and a demonstration of support for victims affected by insecurity.
